It is with regret that I will no longer be able to continue with this website.
Do to illness in the family and my health I can no longer find time to maintain the site.
I will keep the website but there is little chance that I will ever have the opportunity to make it active again. I will however try to pass along emails I receive describing problems in the parish.
In the eight years the website has been operation we have been able to bring to the attention of those responsible many areas of concern. Some of those concerns were addressed others still need to be addressed. To all who helped get those concerns addressed I give my most humble thanks.

Welcome to Inside Ascension Parish©. This web site is dedicated in loving memory of our daughter Anna a victim of the deplorable road conditions that exist in Ascension Parish ignored for years and still to this day by parish government .
It is the objective of this author and other contributors to inform Ascension Parish residents about our parish government, or the lack of it, and other incidents we feel concern their best interest.
After the eight or so years
that this website has been in existence it should be evident to all who view the
subjects on this website and their dates that our political practices have not
changed keeping Ascension Parish a parish mired in good old boy politics. Wake
up Ascension Parish!!! It's time to vote out the old and elect competent
qualified people to bring this parish into the 21st century.

During the depression President Roosevelt threw 2 million illegals out of the country so Americans could work. President Eisenhower threw out 6 million illegals during the fifties. A Preventable Loss Of Life In Ascension Parish In my opinion we can attribute the horrendous number of deaths that have occurred on Ascension Parish roads, to totally inadequate law enforcement, along with deplorable sub standard road conditions, incompetent past and present parish government, who for years have allowed the condition of our roads to decay, and the lackadaisical attitude of parish residents to stand up and demand that this unacceptable situation be changed.
